With the ability to translate thoughts into alphabets, we subscribe to the encode-store-recall model of note taking. Writing notes and thus ‘not forgetting things’ has been an established practice since long time, more so in corporate environment where white-collar people tend to miss out on important things as they handle multiple roles and responsibilities. Here is a solution that combines natural handwriting experience and timely reminder, to keep office life in good order.

The project started with looking into the possibilities of bringing together the experience of handwriting a note, and alarm system for these notes. The first step was the user study wherein 20 office-goers from the age group of 20 to 50 were observed and interviewed. Based on tasks they write/ scribble/ draw while at their desks, the notes were divided into three categories and the solution addresses the third one (the Reminders).

The project culminated into a standalone tabletop product through a series of software and hardware prototypes.
